A Palestinian-American adolescent after completing 270 days in Israeli detention without being charged has been freed.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 during his detention last February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida for allegedly throwing stones against settlement residents, allegations he repeatedly contested.
The US state department said it welcomed the teenager's freedom.
Now sixteen years old, needed medical care for treatment immediately after release, according to close relatives.
They said he is pale, underweight, and experiencing medical problems developed during imprisonment.
In a statement, the youth's uncle spoke of the family's "tremendous relief".
Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" throughout the past nine months.
"Currently, our priority is providing Mohammed with the immediate medical attention he needs after being subjected to harsh conditions and inhumane conditions for months."
American authorities said it would continue to provide consular support to Mohammed's family.
{"American leadership considers paramount than the safety and security of American nationals"," officials stated.
A group of American legislators endorsed a document to the state department and the White House, urging greater action for his freedom.
Mr Ibrahim, a father-of-four managing a frozen treats business in Florida, previously claimed Mohammed acknowledged allegations about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.
There were no visits or communicated with his son since the arrest, receiving updates exclusively regarding the treatment through judicial records.
The teenager remained lacking indictment at Ofer detention facility throughout the occupied territory.
It is also home to mature inmates, featuring prisoners sentenced for major terrorist activities and murder.
Approximately several hundred young Palestinian detainees currently imprisoned in Israel, based on prison authority data.
Many have never been charged while advocacy organizations, and international organizations, report instances of physical abuse and torture.
Following Mohammed's release, Mr Kadur said they would maintain their efforts seeking justice for their relative Sayfollah Musallet.
The dual national youth per medical officials succumbed to assault by radical settlers during a confrontation in July.
Initially, military authorities reported officials were investigating reports a Palestinian civilian had died.
Both young men collaborated in the family ice cream shop based in Florida.
No one has been charged regarding Sayfollah's death.
"We anticipate US authorities to protect our families," Mr Kadur said.
